And thou； O tower of the flock； the strong hold of the daughter of Zion； unto thee shall it e； even the first dominion； the kingdom shall e to the daughter of Jerusalem。
4：9现在你为何大声哭号呢。疼痛抓住你彷佛产难的妇人。是因你中间没有君王吗。你的谋士灭亡了吗。
Now why dost thou cry out aloud？ is there no king in thee？ is thy counsellor perished？ for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail。
4：10锡安的民（民原文作女子）哪，你要疼痛劬劳，彷佛产难的妇人。因为你必从城里出来，住在田野，到巴比伦去。在那里要蒙解救，在那里耶和华必救赎你脱离仇敌的手。
Be in pain； and labour to bring forth； O daughter of Zion； like a woman in travail： for now shalt thou go forth out of the city； and thou shalt dwell in the field； and thou shalt go even to Babylon； there shalt thou be delivered； there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies。
4：11现在有许多国的民聚集攻击你，说，愿锡安被玷污，愿我们亲眼见她遭报。
Now also many nations are gathered against thee； that say； Let her be defiled； and let our eye look upon Zion。
4：12他们却不知道耶和华的意念，也不明白他的筹划。他聚集他们，好像把禾捆聚到禾场一样。
But they know not the thoughts of the LORD； neither understand they his counsel： for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor。
4：13锡安的民（民原文作女子）哪，起来踹谷吧。我必使你的角成为铁，使你的蹄成为铜。你必打碎多国的民。将他们的财献与耶和华，将他们的货献与普天下的主。
Arise and thresh； O daughter of Zion： for I will make thine horn iron； and I will make thy hoofs brass： and thou shalt beat in pieces many people： and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD； and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth。

5：1成群的民（民原文作女子）哪，现在你要聚集成队。因为仇敌围攻我们，要用杖击打以色列审判者的脸。
Now gather thyself in troops； O daughter of troops： he hath laid siege against us： they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek。
5：2伯利恒，以法他阿，你在犹大诸城中为小。将来必有一位从你那里出来，在以色列中为我作掌权的。他的根源从亘古，从太初就有。
But thou； Bethlehem Ephratah； though thou be little among the thousands of Judah； yet out of thee shall he e forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel； whose goings forth have been from of old； from everlasting。
5：3耶和华必将以色列人交付敌人，直等那生产的妇人生下子来。那时掌权者（原文作他）其馀的弟兄必归到以色列人那里。
Therefore will he give them up； until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth： then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel。
5：4他必起来，倚靠耶和华的大能，并耶和华他神之名的威严，牧养他的羊群。他们要安然居住。因为他必日见尊大，直到地极。
And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD； in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God； and they shall abide： for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth。
5：5这位必作我们的平安。当亚述人进入我们的地境，践踏宫殿的时候，我们就立起七个牧者，八个首领攻击他。
And this man shall be the peace； when the Assyrian shall e into our land： and when he shall tread in our palaces； then shall we raise against him seven shepherds； and eight principal men。
5：6他们必用刀剑毁坏亚述地，和宁录地的关口。亚述人进入我们的地境，践踏的时候，他必拯救我们。
And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword； and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof： thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian； when he eth into our land； and when he treadeth within our borders。
5：7雅各馀剩的人必在多国的民中，如从耶和华那里降下的露水，又如甘霖降在草上。不仗赖人力，也不等候世人之功。
And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD； as the showers upon the grass； that tarrieth not for man； nor waiteth for the sons of men。
5：8雅各馀剩的人必在多国多民中，如林间百兽中的狮子，又如少壮狮子在羊群中。他若经过，就必践踏撕裂，无人搭救。
And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest； as a young lion among the flocks of sheep： who； if he go through； both treadeth down； and teareth in pieces； and none can deliver。
5：9愿你的手举起，高过敌人，愿你的仇敌都被剪除。
Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries； and all thine enemies shall be cut off。
5：10耶和华说，到那日，我必从你中间剪除马匹，毁坏车辆。
And it shall e to pass in that day； saith the LORD； that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee； and I will destroy thy chariots：
5：11也必从你国中除灭城邑，拆毁一切的保障。
And I will cut off the cities of thy land； and throw down all thy strong holds：
5：12又必除掉你手中的邪术。你那里也不再有占卜的。
And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand； and thou shalt have no more soothsayers：
5：13我必从你中间除灭雕刻的偶像，和柱像。你就不再跪拜自己手所造的。
Thy graven images also will I cut off； and thy standing images out of the midst of thee； and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands。
5：14我必从你中间拔出木偶。又毁灭你的城邑。
And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee： so will I destroy thy cities。
5：15我也必在怒气，和忿怒中向那不听从的列国施报。
And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen； such as they have not heard。

6：1以色列人哪，当听耶和华的话。要起来向山岭争辩，使冈陵听你的话。
Hear ye now what the LORD saith； Arise； contend thou before the mountains； and let the hills hear thy voice。
6：2山岭和地永久的根基阿，要听耶和华争辩的话。因为耶和华要与他的百姓争辩，与以色列争论。
Hear ye； O mountains； the LORD's controversy； and ye strong foundations of the earth： for the LORD hath a controversy with his people； and he will plead with Israel。
6：3我的百姓阿，我向你做了什么呢。我在什么事上使你厌烦。你可以对我证明。
O my people； what have I done unto thee？ and wherein have I wearied thee？ testify against me。
6：4我曾将你从埃及地领出来，从作奴仆之家救赎你。我也差遣摩西，亚伦，和米利暗在你前面行。
For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt； and redeemed thee out of the house of servants； and I sent before thee Moses； Aaron； and Miriam。
6：5我的百姓阿，你们当追念摩押王巴勒所设的谋，和比珥的儿子巴兰回答他的话，并你们从什亭到吉甲所遇见的事，好使你们知道耶和华公义的作为。
O my people； remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted； and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal； that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD。
6：6我朝见耶和华，在至高神面前跪拜，当献上什么呢。岂可献一岁的牛犊为燔祭吗。
Wherewith shall I e before the LORD； and bow myself before the high God？ shall I e before him with burnt offerings； with calves of a year old？
6：7耶和华岂喜悦千千的公羊，或是千千万万的油河吗。我岂可为自己的罪过，献我的长子吗，为心中的罪恶，献我身所生的吗。
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams； or with ten thousands of rivers of oil？ shall I give my firstborn for my transgression； the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul？
6：8世人哪，耶和华已指示你何为善。他向你所要的是什么呢。只要你行公义，好怜悯，存谦卑的心，与你的神同行。
He hath shewed thee； O man； what is good； and what doth the LORD require of thee； but to do justly； and to love mercy； and to walk humbly with thy God？
6：9耶和华向这城呼叫，智慧人必敬畏他的名。你们当听是谁派定刑杖的惩罚。
The LORD's voice crieth unto the city； and the man of wisdom shall see thy name： hear ye the rod； and who hath appointed it。
6：10恶人家中不仍有非义之财，和可恶的小升斗吗。
Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked； and the scant measure that is abominable？
6：11我若用不公道的天平，和囊中诡诈的法码，岂可算为清洁呢。
Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances； and with the bag of deceitful weights？
6：12城里的富户满行强暴，其中的居民也说谎言，口中的舌头是诡诈的。
For the rich men thereof are full of violence； and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies； and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth。
6：13因此，我击打你，使你的伤痕甚重。使你因你的罪恶荒凉。
Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee； in making thee desolate because of thy sins。
6：14你要吃，却吃不饱。你的虚弱，必显在你中间。你必挪去，却不得救护。所救护的，我必交给刀剑。
Thou shalt eat； but not be satisfied； and thy casting down shall be in the m
