8：14那指着撒玛利亚牛犊（原文作罪）起誓的说，但哪，我们指着你那里的活神起誓。又说，我们指着别是巴的神道（神原文作活）起誓。这些人都必仆倒，永不再起来。
They that swear by the sin of Samaria； and say； Thy god； O Dan； liveth； and； The manner of Beersheba liveth； even they shall fall； and never rise up again。

9：1我看见主站在祭坛旁边。他说，你要击打柱顶，使门槛震动，打碎柱顶，落在众人头上。所剩下的人，我必用刀杀戮。无一人能逃避，无一人能逃脱。
I saw the LORD standing upon the altar： and he said； Smite the lintel of the door； that the posts may shake： and cut them in the head； all of them； and I will slay the last of them with the sword： he that fleeth of them shall not flee away； and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered。
9：2他们虽然挖透阴间，我的手必取出他们来。虽然爬上天去，我必拿下他们来。
Though they dig into hell； thence shall mine hand take them； though they climb up to heaven； thence will I bring them down：
9：3虽然藏在迦密山顶，我必搜寻，捉出他们来。虽然从我眼前藏在海底，我必命蛇咬他们。
And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel； I will search and take them out thence； and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea； thence will I mand the serpent； and he shall bite them：
9：4虽被仇敌掳去，我必命刀剑杀戮他们。我必向他们定住眼目。降祸不降福。
And though they go into captivity before their enemies； thence will I mand the sword； and it shall slay them： and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil； and not for good。
9：5主万军之耶和华摸地，地就消化，凡住在地上的，都必悲哀。地必全然像尼罗河涨起，如同埃及河落下。
And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land； and it shall melt； and all that dwell therein shall mourn： and it shall rise up wholly like a flood； and shall be drowned； as by the flood of Egypt。
9：6那在天上建造楼阁，在地上安定穹苍，命海水浇在地上的，耶和华是他的名。
It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven； and hath founded his troop in the earth； he that calleth for the waters of the sea； and poureth them out upon the face of the earth： The LORD is his name。
9：7耶和华说，以色列人哪，我岂不看你们如古实人吗。我岂不是领以色列人出埃及地，领非利士人出迦斐托，领亚兰人出吉珥吗。
Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me； O children of Israel？ saith the LORD。 Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt？ and the Philistines from Caphtor； and the Syrians from Kir？
9：8主耶和华的眼目察看这有罪的国。必将这国从地上灭绝，却不将雅各家灭绝净尽。这是耶和华说的。
Behold； the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom； and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth； saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob； saith the LORD。
9：9我必出令，将以色列家分散在列国中，好像用筛子筛谷，连一粒也不落在地上。
For； lo； I will mand； and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations； like as corn is sifted in a sieve； yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth。
9：10我民中的一切罪人说，灾祸必追不上我们，也迎不着我们。他们必死在刀下。
All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword； which say； The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us。
9：11到那日，我必建立大卫倒塌的帐幕，堵住其中的破口，把那破坏的建立起来，重新修造，像古时一样。
In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen； and close up the breaches thereof； and I will raise up his ruins； and I will build it as in the days of old：
9：12使以色列人得以东所馀剩的，和所有称为我名下的国。此乃行这事的耶和华说的。
That they may possess the remnant of Edom； and of all the heathen； which are called by my name； saith the LORD that doeth this。
9：13耶和华说，日子将到，耕种的必接续收割的，踹葡萄的必接续撒种的。大山要滴下甜酒，小山都必流奶（原文作消化，见珥03：18）。
Behold； the days e； saith the LORD； that the plowman shall overtake the reaper； and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed； and the mountains shall drop sweet wine； and all the hills shall melt。
9：14我必使我民以色列被掳的归回，他们必重修荒废的城邑居住，栽种葡萄园，喝其中所出的酒；修造果木园，吃其中的果子。
And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel； and they shall build the waste cities； and inhabit them； and they shall plant vineyards； and drink the wine thereof； they shall also make gardens； and eat the fruit of them。
9：15我要将他们栽于本地，他们不再从我所赐给他们的拔出来。这是耶和华说的。
And I will plant them upon their land； and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them； saith the LORD thy God。

1：1俄巴底亚得了耶和华的默示。论以东，说，我从耶和华那里听见信息，并有使者被差往列国去，说，起来把，一同起来与以东争战。
The vision of Obadiah。 Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom； We have heard a rumour from the LORD； and an ambassador is sent among the heathen； Arise ye； and let us rise up against her in battle。
1：2我使你以东在列国中为最小的，被人大大藐视。
Behold； I have made thee small among the heathen： thou art greatly despised。
1：3住在山穴中，居所在高处的阿，你因狂傲自欺，心里说，谁能将我拉下地去呢。
The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee； thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock； whose habitation is high； that saith in his heart； Who shall bring me down to the ground？
1：4你虽如大鹰高飞，在星宿之间搭窝，我必从那里拉下你来。这是耶和华说的。
Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle； and though thou set thy nest among the stars； thence will I bring thee down； saith the LORD。
1：5盗贼若来在你那里，或强盗夜间而来，（你何竟被剪除）岂不偷窃直到够了呢。摘葡萄的若来到你那里，岂不剩下些葡萄呢。
If thieves came to thee； if robbers by night； （how art thou cut off！） would they not have stolen till they had enough？ if the grapegatherers came to thee； would they not leave some grapes？
1：6以扫的隐密处，何竟被搜寻。他隐藏的宝物何竟被查出。
How are the things of Esau searched out！ how are his hidden things sought up！
1：7与你结盟的，都送你上路，直到交界。与你和好的，欺骗你，且胜过你。与你一同吃饭的，设下网罗陷害你。在你心里毫无聪明。
All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border： the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee； and prevailed against thee； they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee： there is none understanding in him。
1：8耶和华说，到那日，我岂不从以东除灭智慧人，从以扫山除灭聪明人。
Shall I not in that day； saith the LORD； even destroy the wise men out of Edom； and understanding out of the mount of Esau？
1：9毯螅哪，你的勇士必惊惶，甚至以扫山的人，都被杀戮剪除。
And thy mighty men； O Teman； shall be dismayed； to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter。
1：10因你向兄弟雅各行强暴，羞愧必遮盖你，你也必永远断绝。
For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee； and thou shalt be cut off for ever。
1：11当外人掳掠雅各的财物，外邦人进入他的城门，为耶路撒冷拈阄的日子，你竟站在一旁，像与他们同夥。
In the day that thou stoodest on the other side； in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces； and foreigners entered into his gates； and cast lots upon Jerusalem； even thou wast as one of them。
1：12你兄弟遭难的日子，你不当瞪眼看着，犹大人被灭的日子，你不当因此欢乐。他们遭难的日子，你不当说狂傲的话。
But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger； neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction； neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress。
1：13我民遭灾的日子，你不当进他们的城门。他们遭灾的日子，你不当瞪眼看着他们受苦。他们遭灾的日子，你不当伸手抢他们的财物。
Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity； yea； thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity； nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity；
1：14你不当站在岔路口，剪除他们中间逃脱的。他们遭难的日子，你不当将他们剩下的人交付仇敌。
Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway； to cut off those of his that did escape； neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress。
1：15耶和华降罚的日子临近万国。你怎样行，他也必照样向你行。你的报应必归到你头上。
