37：23你辱骂谁，亵渎谁，扬起声来，高举眼目攻击谁呢，乃是攻击以色列的圣者。
Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed？ and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice； and lifted up thine eyes on high？ even against the Holy One of Israel。
37：24你藉你的臣仆辱骂主，说，我率领许多战车上山顶，到黎巴嫩极深之处，我要砍伐其中高大的香柏树，和佳美的松树，我必上极高之处，进入肥田的树林。
By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord； and hast said； By the multitude of my chariots am I e up to the height of the mountains； to the sides of Lebanon； and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof； and the choice fir trees thereof： and I will enter into the height of his border； and the forest of his Carmel。
37：25我已经挖井喝水，我必用脚掌踏乾埃及的一切河。
I have digged； and drunk water； and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places。
37：26耶和华说，你岂没有听见我早先所作的古时所立的吗，现在藉你使坚固城荒废，变为乱堆。
Hast thou not heard long ago； how I have done it； and of ancient times； that I have formed it？ now have I brought it to pass； that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps。
37：27所以其中的居民力量甚小，惊惶羞愧。他们像野草，像青菜，如房顶上的草，又如田间未长成的禾稼。
Therefore their inhabitants were of small power； they were dismayed and confounded： they were as the grass of the field； and as the green herb； as the grass on the housetops； and as corn blasted before it be grown up。
37：28你坐下，你出去，你进来，你向我发烈怒，我都知道。
But I know thy abode； and thy going out； and thy ing in； and thy rage against me。
37：29因你向我发烈怒，又因你狂傲的话达到我耳中，我就要用钩子钩上你的鼻子，把嚼环放在你口里，使你从原路转回去。
Because thy rage against me； and thy tumult； is e up into mine ears； therefore will I put my hook in thy nose； and my bridle in thy lips； and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest。
37：30以色列人哪，我赐你们一个证据，你们今年要吃自生的，明年也要吃自长的，至于后年，你们要耕种收割，栽植葡萄园，吃其中的果子。
And this shall be a sign unto thee； Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself； and the second year that which springeth of the same： and in the third year sow ye； and reap； and plant vineyards； and eat the fruit thereof。
37：31犹大家所逃脱剩馀的，仍要往下札根，向上结果。
And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward； and bear fruit upward：
37：32必有馀剩的民，从耶路撒冷而出，必有逃脱的人，从锡安而来。万军之耶和华的热心必成就这事。
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant； and they that escape out of mount Zion： the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this。
37：33所以耶和华论亚述王如此说，他必不得来到这城，也不在这里射箭，不得拿盾牌到城前，也不筑垒攻城。
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria； He shall not e into this city； nor shoot an arrow there； nor e before it with shields； nor cast a bank against it。
37：34他从那条路来，必从那条路回去，必不得来到这城。这是耶和华说的。
By the way that he came； by the same shall he return； and shall not e into this city； saith the LORD。
37：35因我为自己的缘故，又为我仆人大卫的缘故，必保护拯救这城。
For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake； and for my servant David's sake。
37：36耶和华的使者出去，在亚述营中杀了十八万五千人。清早有人起来一看，都是死尸了。
Then the angel of the LORD went forth； and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand： and when they arose early in the morning； behold； they were all dead corpses。
37：37亚述王西拿基立，就拔营回去，住在尼尼微。
So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed； and went and returned； and dwelt at Nineveh。
37：38一日在他的神，尼斯洛庙里叩拜，他儿子亚得米勒，和沙利色，用刀杀了他，就逃到亚拉腊地。他儿子以撒哈吨接续他作王。
And it came to pass； as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god； that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword； and they escaped into the land of Armenia： and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead。

38：1那时希西家病得要死，亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚去见他，对他说，耶和华如此说，你当留遗命与你的家，因为你必死不能活了。
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death。 And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him； and said unto him； Thus saith the LORD； Set thine house in order： for thou shalt die； and not live。
38：2希西家就转脸朝墙，祷告耶和华说，
Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall； and prayed unto the LORD；
38：3耶和华阿，求你记念我在你面前怎样存完全的心，按诚实行事，又作你眼中所看为善的。希西家就痛哭了。
And said； Remember now； O LORD； I beseech thee； how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart； and have done that which is good in thy sight。 And Hezekiah wept sore。
38：4耶和华的话临到以赛亚说，
Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah； saying；
38：5你去告诉希西家说，耶和华你祖大卫的神如此说，我听见了你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪，我必加增你十五年的寿数。
Go； and say to Hezekiah； Thus saith the LORD； the God of David thy father； I have heard thy prayer； I have seen thy tears： behold； I will add unto thy days fifteen years。
38：6并且我要救你和这城脱离亚述王的手，也要保护这城。
And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria： and I will defend this city。
38：7我耶和华必成就我所说的，我先给你一个兆头。
And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD； that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken；
38：8就是叫亚哈斯的日晷，向前进的日影往后退十度。于是前进的日影，果然在日晷上往后退了十度。
Behold； I will bring again the shadow of the degrees； which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz； ten degrees backward。 So the sun returned ten degrees； by which degrees it was gone down。
38：9犹大王希西家患病，已经痊愈，就作诗说，
The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah； when he had been sick； and was recovered of his sickness：
38：10我说，正在我中年（或作晌午）之日，必进入阴间的门。我馀剩的年岁不得享受。
I said in the cutting off of my days； I shall go to the gates of the grave： I am deprived of the residue of my years。
38：11我说，我必不得见耶和华，就是在活人之地不见耶和华。我与世上的居民不再见面。
I said； I shall not see the LORD； even the LORD； in the land of the living： I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world。
38：12我的住处被迁去离开我，好像牧人的帐棚一样。我将性命卷起，像织布的卷布一样。耶和华必将我从机头剪断，从早到晚，他要使我完结。
Mine age is departed； and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent： I have cut off like a weaver my life： he will cut me off with pining sickness： from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me。
38：13我使自己安静直到天亮。他像狮子折断我一切的骨头，从早到晚，他要使我完结。
I reckoned till morning； that； as a lion； so will he break all my bones： from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me。
38：14我像燕子呢喃。像白鹤呜叫。又像鸽子哀呜。我因仰观，眼睛困倦。耶和华阿，我受欺压。求你为我作保。
Like a crane or a swallow； so did I chatter： I did mourn as a dove： mine eyes fail with looking upward： O LORD； I am oppressed； undertake for me。
38：15我可说什么呢，他应许我的，也给我成就了。我因心里的苦楚，在一生的年日，必悄悄而行。
What shall I say？ he hath both spoken unto me； and himself hath done it： I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul。
38：16主阿，人得存活，乃在乎此。我灵存活，也全在此。所以求你使我痊愈，仍然存活。
O LORD； by these things men live； and in all these things is the life of my spirit： so wilt thou recover me； and make me to live。
38：17看哪，我受大苦，本为使我得平安，你因爱我的灵魂，（或作生命）便救我脱离败坏的坑。因为你将我一切的罪，扔在你的背后。
Behold； for peace I had great bitterness： but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption： for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back。
38：18原来阴间不能称谢你，死亡不能颂扬你，下坑的人不能盼望你的诚实。
For the grave cannot praise thee； death can not celebrate thee： they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth。
38：19只有活人，活人必称谢你，像我今日称谢你一样。为父的，必使儿女知道你的诚实。
The living； the living； he shall praise thee； as I do this day： the father to the children shall make known thy truth。
