Take counsel together； and it shall e to nought； speak the word； and it shall not stand： for God is with us。
8：11耶和华以大能的手，指教我不可行这百姓所行的道，对我这样说，
For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand； and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people； saying；
8：12这百姓说，同谋背叛，你们不要说，同谋背叛。他们所怕的，你们不要怕，也不要畏惧。
Say ye not； A confederacy； to all them to whom this people shall say； A confederacy； neither fear ye their fear； nor be afraid。
8：13但要尊万军之耶和华为圣。以他为你们所当怕的，所当畏惧的。
Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself； and let him be your fear； and let him be your dread。
8：14他必作为圣所。却向以色列两家作绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石。向耶路撒冷的居民，作为圈套和网罗。
And he shall be for a sanctuary； but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel； for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem。
8：15许多人必在其上绊脚跌倒，而且跌碎，并陷入网罗，被缠住。
And many among them shall stumble； and fall； and be broken； and be snared； and be taken。
8：16你要卷起律法书，在我门徒中间封住训悔。
Bind up the testimony； seal the law among my disciples。
8：17我要等候那掩面不顾雅各家的耶和华，我也要仰望他。
And I will wait upon the LORD； that hideth his face from the house of Jacob； and I will look for him。
8：18看哪，我与耶和华所给我的儿女，就是从住在锡安山万君之耶和华来的，在以色列中作为豫兆和奇迹。
Behold； I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts； which dwelleth in mount Zion。
8：19有人对你们说，当求问那些交鬼的，和行巫术的，就是声音绵蛮，言语微细的。你们便回答说，百姓不当求问自己的神吗。岂可为活人求问死人呢。
And when they shall say unto you； Seek unto them that have familiar spirits； and unto wizards that peep； and that mutter： should not a people seek unto their God？ for the living to the dead？
8：20人当以训悔和法度为标准。他们所说的，若不与此相符，必不得见晨光。
To the law and to the testimony： if they speak not according to this word； it is because there is no light in them。
8：21他们必经过这地，受艰难，受饥饿。饥饿的时候，心中焦躁，咒骂自己的君王，和自己的神。
And they shall pass through it； hardly bestead and hungry： and it shall e to pass； that when they shall be hungry； they shall fret themselves； and curse their king and their God； and look upward。
8：22仰观上天，俯察下地，不料，尽是艰难，黑暗，和幽暗的痛苦。他们必被赶入乌黑的黑暗中去。
And they shall look unto the earth； and behold trouble and darkness； dimness of anguish； and they shall be driven to darkness。

9：1但那受过痛苦的，必不再见幽暗。从前神使西布伦地，和拿弗他地被藐视。末后却使这沿海的路，约旦河外，外邦人的加利利地，得着荣耀。
Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation； when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali； and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea； beyond Jordan； in Galilee of the nations。
9：2在黑暗中行走的百性，看见了大光。住在死荫之地的人，有光照耀他们。
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light： they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death； upon them hath the light shined。
9：3你使这国民繁多，加增他们的喜乐。他们在你面前欢喜，好像收割的欢喜，像人分掳物那样的快乐。
Thou hast multiplied the nation； and not increased the joy： they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest； and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil。
9：4因为他们所负的重轭，和肩头上的仗，并欺压他们人的棍，你都已经折断，好像在米甸的日子一样。
For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden； and the staff of his shoulder； the rod of his oppressor； as in the day of Midian。
9：5战士在乱杀之间所穿戴的盔甲，并那辊在血中的衣服，都必作为可烧的，当作火柴。
For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise； and garments rolled in blood； but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire。
9：6因为有一婴孩为我们而生，有一子赐给我们。政权必担在他的肩头上。他名称为奇妙，策士，全能的神，永在的父，和平的君。
For unto us a child is born； unto us a son is given： and the government shall be upon his shoulder： and his name shall be called Wonderful； Counsellor； The mighty God； The everlasting Father； The Prince of Peace。
9：7他的政权与平安必加增无穷。他必在大卫的宝座上，治理他的国，以公平公义使国坚定稳固，从今直到永远。万君之耶和华的热心，必成就这事。
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end； upon the throne of David； and upon his kingdom； to order it； and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever。 The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this。
9：8主使一言人于雅各家，落于以色列家。
The Lord sent a word into Jacob； and it hath lighted upon Israel。
9：9这众百姓，就是以法莲和撒玛利亚的居民，都要知道。他们凭骄傲自大的心说，
And all the people shall know； even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria； that say in the pride and stoutness of heart；
9：10砖墙塌了，我们却要凿石头建筑，桑树砍了，我们却要换香柏树。
The bricks are fallen down； but we will build with hewn stones： the syores are cut down； but we will change them into cedars。
9：11因此，耶和华要高举利汛的敌人，来攻击以色列，并要激动以色列的仇敌，
Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him； and join his enemies together；
9：12东有亚兰人，西有非利士人。他们张口要吞吃以色列。虽然如此，耶和华的怒气还未转消，他的手仍伸不缩。
The Syrians before； and the Philistines behind； and they shall devour Israel with open mouth。 For all this his anger is not turned away； but his hand is stretched out still。
9：13这百姓还没有归向击打他们的主，也没有寻求万军之耶和华。
For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them； neither do they seek the LORD of hosts。
9：14因此，耶和华一日之间，必从以色列中剪除头与尾，棕枝与芦苇。
Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail； branch and rush； in one day。
9：15长老和尊贵人，就是头。以谎言教人的先知，就是尾。
The ancient and honourable； he is the head； and the prophet that teacheth lies； he is the tail。
9：16因为引导这百姓的，使他们走错了路。被引导的，都必败亡。
For the leaders of this people cause them to err； and they that are led of them are destroyed。
9：17所以主必不喜悦他们的少年人，也不怜恤他们的孤儿寡妇。因为各人是亵渎的，是行恶的，并且各人的口，都说愚妄的话。虽然如此，耶和华的怒气还未转消，他的手仍伸不缩。
Therefore the LORD shall have no joy in their young men； neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows： for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer； and every mouth speaketh folly。 For all this his anger is not turned away； but his hand is stretched out still。
9：18邪恶像火焚烧，烧灭荆棘和蒺藜。在稠密的树林中着起来，就成为烟柱，旋转上腾。
For wickedness burneth as the fire： it shall devour the briers and thorns； and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest； and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke。
9：19因万军之耶和华的烈怒，地都烧遍。百姓成为火柴，无人怜爱弟兄。
Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened； and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire： no man shall spare his brother。
9：20有人右边抢夺，仍受饥饿。左边吞吃，仍不饱足。各人吃自己膀臂上的肉。
And he shall snatch on the right hand； and be hungry； and he shall eat on the left hand； and they shall not be satisfied： they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm：
9：21玛拿西吞吃（或作攻击下同）以法莲，以法莲吞吃玛拿西。又一同攻击犹大。虽然如此，耶和华的怒气还未转消，他的手仍伸不缩。
Manasseh； Ephraim； and Ephraim； Manasseh： and they together shall be against Judah。 For all this his anger is not turned away； but his hand is stretched out still。

10：1祸哉，那些设立不义之律例的，和记录奸诈之判语的。
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees； and that write grievousness which they have prescribed；
10：2为要屈枉穷乏人，夺去我民中困苦人的理，以寡妇当作掳物，以孤儿当作掠物。
To turn aside the needy from judgment； and to take away the right from the poor of my people； that widows may be their prey； and that they may rob the fatherless！
10：3到降罚的日子，有灾祸从远方临到，那时，你们怎样行呢，你们向谁逃奔求救呢，你们的荣耀（或作财宝）存留�
