40：9我在大会中宣传公义的佳音。我必不止住我的嘴唇。耶和华阿，这是你所知道的。
I have preached righteousness in the great congregation： lo； I have not refrained my lips； O LORD； thou knowest。
40：10我未曾把你的公义藏在心里。我已陈明你的信实，和你的救恩。我在大会中未曾隐瞒你的慈爱，和诚实。
I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart； I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation： I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation。
40：11耶和华阿，求你不要向我止住你的慈悲。愿你的慈爱和诚实，常常保佑我。
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me； O LORD： let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me。
40：12因有无数的祸患围困我。我的罪孽追上了我，使我不能昂首。这罪孽比我的头发还多。我就心寒胆战。
For innumerable evils have passed me about： mine iniquities have taken hold upon me； so that I am not able to look up； they are more than the hairs of mine head： therefore my heart faileth me。
40：13耶和华阿，求你开恩搭救我。耶和华阿，求你速速帮助我。
Be pleased； O LORD； to deliver me： O LORD； make haste to help me。
40：14愿那些寻梢我，要灭我命的，一同抱愧蒙羞。愿那些喜悦我受害的，退后受辱。
Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it； let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil。
40：15愿那些对我说，阿哈，阿哈的，因羞愧而败亡。
Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me； Aha； aha。
40：16愿一切寻求你的，因你高兴欢喜。愿那些喜爱你救恩的，常说，当尊耶和华为大。
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee： let such as love thy salvation say continually； The LORD be magnified。
40：17但我是困苦穷乏的，主仍顾念我。你是帮助我的，搭救我的。神阿，求你不要耽延。
But I am poor and needy； yet the Lord thinketh upon me： thou art my help and my deliverer； make no tarrying； O my God。

41：1（大卫的诗，交与伶长）眷顾贫穷的有福了。他遭难的日子，耶和华必搭救他。
Blessed is he that considereth the poor： the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble。
41：2耶和华必保全他，使他存活。他必在地上享福。求你不要把他交给仇敌，逐其所愿。
The LORD will preserve him； and keep him alive； and he shall be blessed upon the earth： and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies。
41：3他病重在榻，耶和华必扶持他。他在病中，你必给他铺床。
The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing： thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness。
41：4我曾说，耶和华阿，求你怜恤我，医治我。因为我得罪了你。
I said； LORD； be merciful unto me： heal my soul； for I have sinned against thee。
41：5我的仇敌用恶言议论我，说，他几时死，他的名才灭亡呢。
Mine enemies speak evil of me； When shall he die； and his name perish？
41：6他来看我，就说假话。他心存奸恶，走到外边才说出来。
And if he e to see me； he speaketh vanity： his heart gathereth iniquity to itself； when he goeth abroad； he telleth it。
41：7一切恨我的，都交头接耳的议论我。他们设计要害我。
All that hate me whisper together against me： against me do they devise my hurt。
41：8他们说，有怪病贴在他身上。他已躺卧，必不能再起来。
An evil disease； say they； cleaveth fast unto him： and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more。
41：9连我知己的朋友，我所倚靠吃过我饭的，也用脚踢我。
Yea； mine own familiar friend； in whom I trusted； which did eat of my bread； hath lifted up his heel against me。
41：10耶和华阿，求你怜恤我，使我起来，好报复他们。
But thou； O LORD； be merciful unto me； and raise me up； that I may requite them。
41：11因我的仇敌不得向我夸胜。我从此便知道你喜爱我。
By this I know that thou favourest me； because mine enemy doth not triumph over me。
41：12你因我纯正，就扶持我，使我永远站在你的面前。
And as for me； thou upholdest me in mine integrity； and settest me before thy face for ever。
41：13耶和华以色列的神，是应当称颂的，从亘古直到永远。阿们，阿们。
Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting； and to everlasting。 Amen； and Amen。

42：1（可拉后裔的训悔诗，交给伶长）神阿，我的心切慕你，如鹿切慕溪水。
As the hart panteth after the water brooks； so panteth my soul after thee； O God。
42：2我的心渴想神，就是永生神。我几时得朝见神呢。
My soul thirsteth for God； for the living God： when shall I e and appear before God？
42：3我昼夜以眼泪当饮食。人不住的对我说，你的神在那里呢。
My tears have been my meat day and night； while they continually say unto me； Where is thy God？
42：4我从前与众人同往，用欢呼称赞的声音，领他们到神的殿里，大家守节。我追想这些事，我的心极其悲伤。
When I remember these things； I pour out my soul in me： for I had gone with the multitude； I went with them to the house of God； with the voice of joy and praise； with a multitude that kept holyday。
42：5我的心哪，你为何忧闷，为何在我里面烦躁。因当仰望神。因他笑脸帮助我，我还要称赞他。
Why art thou cast down； O my soul？ and why art thou disquieted in me？ hope thou in God： for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance。
42：6我的神阿，我的心在我里面忧闷。所以我从约旦地，从黑门岭，从米萨山，记念你。
O my God； my soul is cast down within me： therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan； and of the Hermonites； from the hill Mizar。
42：7你的瀑布发声，深渊就与深渊响应。你的波浪洪涛漫过我身。
Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts： all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me。
42：8白昼耶和华必向我施慈爱。黑夜我要歌颂祷告赐我生命的神。
Yet the LORD will mand his lovingkindness in the day time； and in the night his song shall be with me； and my prayer unto the God of my life。
42：9我要对神我的磐石说，你为何忘记我呢。我为何因仇敌的欺压时常哀痛呢。
I will say unto God my rock； Why hast thou forgotten me？ why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy？
42：10我的仇敌辱骂我，好像打碎我的骨头，不住的对我说，你的神在那里呢。
As with a sword in my bones； mine enemies reproach me； while they say daily unto me； Where is thy God？
42：11我的心哪，你为何忧闷，为何在我里面烦躁。应当仰望神。因我还要称赞他。他是我脸上的光荣，（原文作帮助），是我的神。
Why art thou cast down； O my soul？ and why art thou disquieted within me？ hope thou in God： for I shall yet praise him； who is the health of my countenance； and my God。

43：1神阿，求你伸我的冤，向不虔诚的国，为我辨屈。求你救我脱离诡诈不义的人。
Judge me； O God； and plead my cause against an ungodly nation： O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man。
43：2因为你是赐我力量的神，为何丢弃我呢。我为何因仇敌的欺压时常哀痛呢。
For thou art the God of my strength： why dost thou cast me off？ why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy？
43：3求你发出你的亮光和真实，好引导我，带我到你的圣山，到你的居所。
O send out thy light and thy truth： let them lead me； let them bring me unto thy holy hill； and to thy tabernacles。
43：4我就走到神的祭坛，到我最喜乐的神那里。神阿，我的神，我要弹琴称赞你。
Then will I go unto the altar of God； unto God my exceeding joy： yea； upon the harp will I praise thee； O God my God。
43：5我的心哪，你为何忧闷，为何在我里面烦躁。因当仰望神。因我还要称赞他。他是我脸上的光荣，（原文作帮助）是我的神。

44：1（可拉后裔的训诲诗，交与伶长）神阿，你在古时，我们列祖的日子，所行的事，我们亲耳听见了，我们的列祖，也给我们述说过。
We have heard with our ears； O God； our fathers have told us； what work thou didst in their days； in the times of old。
44：2你曾用手赶出外邦人，却栽培了我们列祖。你苦待列邦，却叫我们列祖发达。
How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand； and plantedst them； how thou didst afflict the people； and cast them out。
44：3因为他们不是靠自己的刀剑得土地，也不是靠自己的膀臂得胜。乃是靠你的右手，你的膀臂，和你脸上的亮光，因为你喜悦他们。
For they got not the land in possession by their own sword； neither did their own arm save them： but thy right hand； and thine arm； and the light of thy countenance； because thou hadst a favour unto them。
44：4神阿，你是我的王，求你出令，使雅各得胜。
Thou art my King；
